Sunday Evening Reflections:

Greetings All! Hope you had a good weekend. The Baldwins were busy and blessed by our activities.

Reflections:

  • Friday evening we joined the HUGS (Helping Uniquely Gifted Souls) parents in a night out. HUGS is our ministry to developmentally disabled children and adults and their parents. While we were out dining and fellowshipping a great group of people were at LifePoint giving our children an awesome evening built around the Easter theme. Now that our daughter, Erin, is back living with us we are entering this sub-culture at LifePoint with great enthusiasm. Our HUGS ministry is one of the programs that is reaching many for Jesus.
  • Our weekend gatherings were special. It was Palm Sunday and the theme throughout carried that emphasis. Our gatherings were sprinkled with devotionals, dramas, great music and communion. As we have grown communion has become a logistical challenge, but our team did an excellent job yesterday.
  • A preview to next weekend: We are having five weekend gatherings. On Saturday we have our regular 4:30 and 6:15 pm worship times. On Sunday we have 8:30, 10:00 and 11:45 am worship times. You can visit our website www.lifepointchurch.us for more information regarding children and youth programing. If you are in the area join us at one of these services. 10 am on Sunday will probably be the most crowded so try another time if it works for you, but come even if it is at that crowded service. We’ll find a seat for you.

Many Blessings,

Dave
