Another weekend come and gone. But a lot to reflect on:
- A great engaged couples seminar. We had seven couples attend a day long seminar on Saturday. We had four presenters discussing everything from finances to spirituality in marriage. I am seriously thinking about how we can make this even better.
- Very lively worship gatherings. Mark Marten taught on Colossians 2:1-10. The video cafe was alive and very involved in what was happening. We had over 50 people there. The Saturday night crowd was electric.
- A hard meeting with one of our ministry leadership teams. There is a transition coming in the leadership of the team and we needed to talk through the future.
- We had a great community group meeting tonight. Jeff leads our group and led us in a wonderful time of prayer. It is an evening I’ll never forget. Ed & Alana who started the group, but now live in CA were with us.
I have a lot to be thankful for. The Lord is doing awesome things @ LifePoint Church and in our lives personally. I have been reminded lately of His goodness to us, even when things aren’t going the way I planned them to go.
That’s this leader’s view on this Sunday evening.
Some time tomorrow I’ll be posting a synopsis of my first lesson on leadership I’m doing in Kiev, Ukraine.
